25/03/2008 - Deadline for the Training Project Announcements


It's not possible to deliver anymore documentation regarding the SiCilab Training Targets.

Within a short time the three examination boards will start their duties.

 

04/03/2008 - SiCilab Training Project Presentation


The 11th of March, 2008, at 10:00 am, coordinator Gaetano Foti will introduce the SiCilab Training Project, in the Oliveri Hall at the Faculty of Engineering of Catania (Santa Sofia street, 64).

 

28/02/2008 - Training project Announcements Published


It's now available the documentation regarding the three Training Targets contemplated in the Training Project. To join the selection visit the Announcements section.

 

22/02/2008 - Coming Announcements


Within a few days the announcements will be published to select 12 graduates for the SiCilab training project group.

The announcement anticipates the granting of 12 bursaries to train three types of professionals:

  • Process Designers for wafers and epitaxial slices of new semiconducting materials (4 persons).
  • Experts in the development of Numerical Models and Simulators for the growth of innovative semiconductors (4 persons). 
  • Experts in the characterization of Materials and Processes for the growth of innovative semiconductors (4 persons).

The course, with a duration of 18 months, features both lecture style training periods, conducted by technical area experts, and "on the job" sessions, with tutors from CNR and partner firms, to provide hands-on training for the partecipants.

The evaluation criteria for partecipant selection is based on a review of technical credentials and interviews.
